By Road: To get to this Hippo pool which is slightly outside the main road, you will need a good safari 4 wheel drive jeep like a land cruiser, land rover or similar to get here from Naabi hill gate or other gates of the park.

By Air: if you prefer to take a flight and enjoy an aerial view of Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, we advise that you fly to the Seronera Airstrip of Lake Ndutu Airstrip which are the closest ones to this hippo pool. Still after landing at the airstrip, you will need a safari vehicle to access this place.
