Location of Singita Faru Faru Lodge

Nestled on the eastern side of the Serengeti Grumeti area in northern Tanzania, Singita Faru Faru Lodge offers guests an unforgettable luxury safari experience. The lodge is situated in the private Singita Grumeti Reserve, which is adjacent to the Serengeti and spans an area of 500 square kilometers. This vast private safari area offers guests the chance to experience unparalleled wildlife sightings as it is free from traffic from other operators.

The Singita Grumeti Reserve is a year-round wildlife haven, with an excellent range of resident animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and many more. However, rhinos are a rare sight in the area. Singita Faru Faru Lodge provides access to some of the best safari areas in northern Tanzania, making it an ideal destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

Getting there

To reach the Singita Faru Faru Lodge, guests typically book a 6 to 12-night safari through the region, with the camp often featured between the Ngorongoro Crater and other Serengeti areas. If Singita Faru Faru Lodge is at the start or end of the safari, guests can fly in using light aircraft to the nearby Grumeti Airstrip. The airstrip offers daily flights connections to many locations, including Kigali (for gorillas in Rwanda), Manyara, Tarangire, Ruaha, and Selous (for more safari), Zanzibar (for tropical coastline), Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam and Nairobi (for international arrivals and departures).

Upon arrival at the Grumeti Airstrip, guests can enjoy an exciting vehicle safari of around 30 minutes into the lodge. This drive offers an excellent opportunity for early animal sightings and to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
