Nomad Mkombe’s House is a lovely and extremely high-end accommodation property built on a stunning hilltop site on the south side of the river in the Serengeti Mara area of northern Tanzania, featuring guest accommodation in four rooms and access to a good selection of safari places. Nomad Mkombe’s House is located in northern Tanzania’s Serengeti Mara area, near the Mara River.

The Serengeti is a massive national park, the undeniable showpiece of the fantastic Northern Tanzania safari area, and unquestionably the largest wildlife reserve in East Africa.

A frequent misperception is that the Serengeti is a large, unending grassland plain, but it actually has a diverse spectrum of landscapes and habitats.

The region is most renowned for its huge wildebeest migration, which occurs all year. Furthermore, it is Africa’s most prolific location for lions and cheetahs.

The Serengeti is certainly worth visiting at any time of year, but it is best seen as part of an extended overland safari through the region, stopping in two or three distinct sub-areas.
