Please do note, however, that the minimum age for visitors is 5 years old, as this is not an experience for the faint-hearted.

Location of Dunia Camp

Location-wise, Dunia Camp is located in a relatively quiet part of the Serengeti Central area of northern Tanzania. Positioned between the Ngorongoro Crater and other Serengeti areas, it is approximately 45 minutes west of the main transit road. The Serengeti itself is a vast national park that boasts the largest wildlife reserve in East Africa, making it the highlight of the Northern Tanzania safari area.

Getting there

Accessing the camp is a breeze, even though it is located in such a remote location. If the camp is at the start or end of your safari, it can be accessed by light aircraft into the nearby Seronera airstrip. Daily flight connections are available from Kigali (for gorillas in Rwanda), Manyara, Tarangire, Ruaha, and Selous (for more safari), Zanzibar (for tropical coastline), Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, and Nairobi (for international arrivals and departures).

Upon arriving at the airstrip, a thrilling 45-minute vehicle safari awaits you on your way to the camp. Early animal sightings are not uncommon, so keep your eyes peeled. It’s worth noting that we typically include all the connecting transport for your trip unless you specifically request otherwise.
